“I Always Wanted a Baby but Never a Husband” — AARP
Meet Kamili
For as long as she can remember, Kamili always felt a strong calling to be a parent. She observed other women defined by infertility and knew she had a finite time to have a child. She says she was never extremely social although she did date occasionally. But as she approached 30, her desire to have a baby grew stronger. She told her married friends and they were concerned. They wanted more for her. But she was never driven by a need or a desire to have a traditional relationship with man, wife, home and family.
But she did want a baby. And today she couldn’t be happier.
