Four weeks after her first child was born, Danielle found out that her mother had stage 4 lung cancer. Three months later, after a flurry of appointments and treatments, she passed away. But Danielle didn’t crumble.

It's always hard when a parent dies, and Danielle advises everyone to take time to mourn, no matter what else is going on in your life. Caring for a newborn following the death of her mother really drove home how real the circle of life really is.
