Family
I had an interesting conversation with someone recently regarding “forever people.”
I was as afraid as I was excited.
The reality of my daughter's question left me completely rattled.
And it's something I never thought I'd do.
"We were searching for magical treasure."
Sometimes it doesn't take much to remind us that, no matter what, we'll always be there for each other.
I thought I’d be more likely to inherit mom jeans than mom genes. But I was wrong.
I love my daughter but we're as different as chalk is from cheese.
Often it's not the word “step” that’s the issue — it’s how others respond to it.
I don't want to go to the dark side. But I fear I'm already there.
For one thing, my husband and I have been coasting along on autopilot for far too long.
